Sorry for the delay, I am a couple weekends behind.  Due to having to order things here and there, things are not moving as rapid as the start of the project.  As of right now, the engine is 95% ready to be put in.  It is actually has the hoist sitting above it (although still attached to the engine stand).

Essentially 3 main area where worked on:

1 – Intake Manifold:Pretty straight forward stuff here.  A gasket and a handfull of bolts.  Easy to put on, but also easy on the eyes

2 – Exhaust Manifold: This appeared to be easy, but then turned into a pain.  Like the intake manifold, I put on the gasket and bolted on the manifold.  Seemed like things were good until Corey and I tried bolting on the turbo.  There was hardly any room.  We ended up taking the manifold off and bolting the turbo on the manifold off the car, and then sticking it all on at once.  Still was a pain to get the turbo mounted, but we got it done.

3 – Oil Pans: Basically…oil systems freak me out.  Unlike other parts of the engine, if something is messed up with the oil system, you probably ruin your engine.  None the less, we bolted everything on.  Took our time, and will see how it goes when we fire it up.  Pretty basic stuff.  The only snag we ran into was the previous owner stripped out one of the turbo oil return line bolts.  So that will need to get fixed with a heli coil (spelling?).

Other than all that, things are moving really good.  Still sorting out the wiring (it was a mess), but am hoping to get the engine dropped in this weekend!
